Sea Surface Temperature

Monthly sea surface temperature measurements have been taken within the bay in front of the center between 1949 - 2011 (Click here to download)



Daily sea surface temperature measurements have been taken within the bay in front of the center since 2005.



From April 23, 2009, a new automated instrument was installed to measure temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and rainfall.

CTD Sensor Data

A CTD sensor has been deployed within the bay in front of the center (GPS: 34 ° 38'5N, 138 ° 56'58E) variously over the years.



Two instruments have been used over this time: Idronut Ocean Seven (November 2011-June 2013) and a Rinko Profiler manufactured by JFE Advantec (since July 2013)
