The Shimoda Marine Research Center, University of Tsukuba and The Center for Marine Biology, University of Tokyo has been promoting national and international exchanges for the study of marine biology through the establishment of the Japanese Association for Marine Biology (JAMBIO).
This year, the 2nd International Symposium will be held in collaboration with the Tropical Biosphere Research Center , University of the Ryukyus. Nine speakers from Japan and six speakers from abroad will present their recent research on the theme “Aquatic ecosystem: Past, Present and Future”.
